Our Story


Highland Wholesale Foods INC. was founded in 1999 by Greg Stagnitto. As the industry leader in canned foods, we are integrity-driven and committed to customer service. Helping markets that are challenged by budget constraints is our specialty. We value our genuine environment; are “Organic Certified” by the State of California Department of Public Health and also “HACCP Certified.”



Recognizing the uniqueness of each market, we have established dedicated sales teams to focus on each distinctive demand. Partnerships with distribution centers and export companies provide value to food programs in the corrections industry, retail markets, non-profit food agencies, food banks, school programs, and other specialized markets. Our access to stocked mixing centers located nationwide provides economical pricing and large product variety. Repacking products customized to your needs is another valuable service we offer. 


Products are procured through long-standing relationships worldwide. Passing down the savings from our manufactures directly to you is embedded in our business model. We also offer Hot Buys for additional savings that become available due to over-production, package changes, or cosmetic imperfections.


Multiple delivery and distribution options are always provided. Our logistics team is continually working to reduce costs in transportation, optimize product inventory, and ensure order fulfillment. In addition, we have a dedicated fleet of tractors and trailers to support and service regionally.
